Go Go Gadjet
Go Go Gadjet
Formed in 2005, Go Go Gadjet has played nearly 2500 successful shows up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Well known and respected for their innovation and contemporary approach, Go Go Gadjet stands out, captivates and energizes audiences with their musicality, personality and on stage charisma. They are the number one band of their genre in the Mid-¬‐Atlantic states based on their popularity, fueled by their loyal fan base who stay in touch online and through the Go Go Gadjet mobile App. Jeff Tomrell, lead singer, attributes their success to “ongoing dedication to musical and theatrical innovation.”

Most recently, the Washington Post feature article on Go Go Gadjet revealed the story behind their successes focused on their high profile summer residencies in Dewey Beach, Delaware venues and their goal to go national. Performing for audiences of college students and young professionals on vacation at the most popular Mid-¬‐Atlantic shore clubs, Go Go Gadjet engages over 150,000 people each summer at these shows.

Their Fall to Spring touring focuses on the most prestigious nightclubs, colleges and festivals. The band is extremely popular on the Penn State University campus of over 45,000 students and with their alumni. Go Go Gadjet continues to be selected as the headliner for the past seven years to nearly 20,000 students at Penn State's THON held in the Bryce Jordan Center. THON is the largest student--‐run philanthropy in the world benefiting pediatric cancer and the 46 hour event is broadcasted online to viewers around the world.

Some people may think that Reading, Pennsylvania’s Go Go Gadjet has done it all, but not according to the band. They are seguing into the next phase of their career with their Escape Concert Experience. Tomrell commented, “This show will be like America’s Got Talent, except we are every act.” It includes set, instrument and costume changes, tricked-¬‐out light-¬‐up barrel drum line performances, and segments with band members in LED programmed outfits accompanied by synchronized, state of the art lighting. All of this will be tied together through the use of a futuristic, digitized narrator who addresses the crowd via the LED screens on stage. This interactive show is based on re--‐imagining familiar songs while incorporating the latest lighting technology and LED screen graphics, which is one of the band’s signatures. “It is everything we always wanted to incorporate in a show.”

Never satisfied in resting on their laurels, Go Go Gadjet forges forward with the debut of their most ambitious project to date, the Escape Concert Experience.

[...] Off With Their Heads “Home” Minneapolis punk rockers Off With Their Heads release their latest album, “Home,” also celebrating their 10 year anniversary as a band this year. Though one of the most polished, concentrated efforts by the guys thus far, the singer Ryan Young hasn’t lost his punk angst. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune says “The harrowing first single, “Nightlife,” makes it sound as if Young outright fears the prospect of playing night after night (sample lyric: “I know I’m sick and I’m not right / I’m so [expletive] tired of living this life”). Young explained by phone, though, that the song is actually more about when he’s not on the road. “It can sort of freak you out when you go from playing 300 shows a year to being at home with someone who has to get up at 6 a.m. to go to work, and leads that normal kind of life,” Young explained, referring to his Los Angeles-based girlfriend of five years. Don’t miss these guys at Rams Head Live with Alkaline Trio and Bayside on May 17! [...]
