Intern John piloted his comedy tour back in October of 2016 and had shows selling out within minutes of him making the announcement! Now with a show full of fresh new material he is ready to get back on the road. Intern John is confident that the best has yet to come and that he is pro now saying “I’ve literally only done four stand-up shows prior to this tour, so what could go wrong?”
Intern John’s comedy tour began as way to combine his passion for comedy and a way to help out a close friend of The Kane Show who was diagnosed with cancer back in 2016. In order to help raise money for Mimi, Intern John teamed up with the Fisher House Foundation to not only raise money for her but for other military personnel and their families.
Intern John goes on to share that “Fisher House Foundation is an organization I got to see work first hand. When I flew down to see Mimi, I realized how amazing Fisher House is. They provide housing and airfare for military and their family as they go through medical treatment”
The Fisher House Foundation not only provides free housing, their Hero Miles program uses donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members as well as the Hotels for Heroes program which uses donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge.
Intern John’s comedy show combines his love for making fun of the other co-host on the Kane Show, to his hilarious interpretation on his day-to-day life. “Being able to do stand-up in different Kane Show cities is awesome, getting to do it while helping a group like Fisher House Foundation is even better.”
